Mee Suah Fried Fritters

Found this fritters from a food magazine. Never eat before so wondering how it taste? Gather all ingredients and fried this fritter for my family as breakfast. It taste good. I personally feel that the prawn and crabstick filament finely chopped will be more easy to handle and it will not drop while eating.

Recipe from Y3K:

Ingredients:

120g mee suah
6 pieces imitation crabstick filament (diced)
3 pips garlic (minced)
100ml evaporated milk (I replace with water)
10 prawns (shelled, deveined,halved)
1 stalk spring onion (diced)
1 red chili (minced)
2 eggs

seasoning:
1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper

Method:
  1. Blanch mee suah in boiling water to cook briefly. Remove into a metal sieve. Plunge into a cold bath. Drain and leave in bowl.
  2. saute garlic till fragrant. put into no. (1) add in imitation crabstick filament, spring onions, red chillies, eggs and seasoning. Mix evenly and then, add in evaporated milk. Mix very well.
  3. Heat a wok with little oil. Spoon in no. (2), place in a piece of halved prawn. fry till golden.

I saute garlic till fragrant and saute prawn to half cook.

Anncoo & Sonia, forgot to tell you when you fried the fritters just put a few drop oil to fry will do else will cause your fritters too oily or you may use non stick wok to fry.
