Raisin And Almond Squares

Learn this from "YUM YUM NO 56 pg 75 " .This Raisin and Almond Square taste delicious and easy to prepare. Thank you teacher Kelly provide such nice recipe.



ingredients:

Base:

125g butter ( I used 140g butter in order to form the dough )

100g icing sugar ( I used 80g)

250g plain flour

Topping

1 egg

3 tbsp soft brown sugar ( I used 2 tbsp)

200g raisins

100g sliver almond

3 tbsp plain flour

Methods:

1. Base: Beat butter and icing sugar till creamy. Fold in flour and mix into a dough. press dough into a 10" X 7" baking tray. Use a fork to prick some holes. Bake in a preheated oven at 170℃ for 15 minutes or until golden brown .

2. Topping: Beat egg and sugar lightly. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.

3. Spread filling onto prepared base.

4. Bake in a preheated oven at 170℃ for 20 minutes. Remove and leave to cool. Cut into slices and serve.
