That day bought the organic black sesame powder to bake the black sesame chiffon cake and still have a lot so take the black sesame powder mix to pau dough to make the mantou. （ will post the mantou recipe soon.) 那天买了瓶有机黑芝麻粉做了黑芝麻戚风蛋糕还剩下好多就拿一些黑芝麻粉加在包的粉团 内做黑芝麻馒头。
Below is the recipe I use to make this Mantou.
sugar - 30g
flour - 270g
black sesame powder - 30g
water - 150ml
yeast - 1tsp
crisco/ shortening - 1 tbsp
double action powder - a pinch
1.) Mix well all ingredients till smooth then rest for an hour/ double the size. Use the rolling pin to roll the dough to about 1.5 cm thick and roll in rectangle size then roll it up and use knife to cut it about 1 inch width. (you may roll to round about 50 to 60g.
2.) rest it for about 20 minutes.
3.) steam in boiling water for about 15 to 20 minutes.
