Nasi Lemak Without Coconut Milk 无椰浆的椰浆饭

要吃椰浆饭可是又怕高胆固醇所以就煮了这个没椰浆的椰浆饭.虽然这饭没有椰浆可是蛮香也蛮不错吃. (哈哈, beh pai sei, 自己讲不错吃!!)

Wanted to eat nasi lemak but worry about high cholesterol so cooked this nasi lemak without coconut milk. Even though without coconut milk but its taste "OK" and fragrant also. (sorry self- praise)




Fragrant rice
1 cup brown rice (wash and soak a few hours)
water - normal water level for cooking rice.
1 yellow onion (cut to 8 pieces)
some ginger (cut to slices)
screw pine leaf /pandan leaf 3-4 pieces (make knot)

Put in all the ingredients to rice cooker and cook.

Curry Prawn and Cuttle Fish
(A)
15 shallot
10 garlic
12 dry chilies (soak with hot water to make it soft)
blend the shallot,garlic and soaked chilies to fine.

some tamarind juice
1 onion (cut to ring)
some prawn
2 dry cuttle fish (soak it over night) cut to slices
some sugar
some salt
2 tbsp cooking oil

methods:
1. Heat the wok, add in oil then fry (A) till fragrant.
2. Add in the onion and continue fry till onion fragrant.
3. Add in the prawn, cuttle fish and some turmeric juice (the sourness according to your taste)
4. Put in some sugar and salt (up to your taste)
5. Dish up.

To Garnish:
hard boiled egg cut to four
cucumber cut to slices
some sambal belacan.

scooped in some fragrant rice, some curry prawn and cuttle fish ,hard boiled egg, cucumber and some sambal belacan.

香饭
1 杯糙米(洗清洁后浸泡数小时)
水- 普通煮1 杯米的水量
1 粒大葱切成八份
一些姜切丝
香叶 3-4 片 (打结)

把全部材料放进电饭煲内煮至熟.

咖喱虾与墨鱼
(A)
15 粒小葱
10 粒蒜头
12 干辣椒(用热水浸泡至软)
把(A)放进搅拌机内搅至幼.

少许罗望子汁
1 粒大葱(切圆)
一些虾
2条干墨鱼(浸泡隔夜) 切片
少许糖
少许盐
2 大匙油

做法:
1. 烧热镬, 加入油把(A) 炒香.
2. 加入大葱继续炒至大葱香.
3. 把虾,墨鱼片和少许罗望子汁加入镬内. (罗望子汁加多少随个人口味)
4. 煮至滚后加入盐和糖调味.
装饰
煮熟的蛋切成四片
黄瓜切片
少许的叁笆笆拉煎辣椒
把香饭放在盘上,加些咖喱虾与墨鱼,煮熟的蛋,黄瓜片及少许的叁笆笆拉煎辣椒即是一盘香喷喷的无椰浆的椰浆饭了.
